A177™ is an abbreviated agreement philosophically deriving much of its content from the combination of A171™-1990 and A271™-1990. It is for use on projects where the contractor for furniture, furnishings and equipment (FF&E) has a prior working relationship with the owner, or where the project is relatively simple in detail or short in duration.
